In a major step toward promoting sustainable science and global wellness, the Society for Advanced Research in Plant Science (SARPS) has officially launched. This distinguished organization sets out to become a central platform for innovation, scientific exchange, and high-level research. SARPS gathers a global network of experts, educators, investigators, and professionals who are passionate about expanding the role of plant science for the advancement of society.
SARPS envisions plant science as a solution-oriented field that can address environmental sustainability, human health, resilient agriculture, and progressive industries.
Primary Goals of SARPS:
- To stimulate original research and real-world applications in botanical sciences, ethnomedicine, plant-based therapeutics, natural product chemistry, nano-biotech, and conservation of plant-based resources.
- To drive forward-thinking work in natural remedies, nano-enabled delivery systems, and eco-friendly technologies that bridge traditional knowledge with current scientific tools.
- To coordinate workshops, seminars, research training, and national/international summits that empower researchers and nurture scientific skill sets.
- To guide students, junior scientists, and researchers in their professional journey through structured mentorship and growth opportunities.
- To develop partnerships between researchers, universities, policymakers, global institutions, and industry stakeholders for applied solutions.
- To influence and promote scientifically-backed policy and practice across conservation, public health, agriculture, and wellness sectors.
